St. Louis Blues 14 Fund

The St. Louis Blues 14 Fund focuses on four areas of giving – cancer care and awareness, health and wellness, education and youth hockey development. The trust was created in 1998 to honor former Blues player Doug Wickenheiser, #14, who lost his battle with cancer in 1999. With the help of Blues players, alumni, volunteers and fans, the St. Louis Blues 14 Fund has contributed more than $1.5 million to the St. Louis community.

Delta Dental Health Theatre

The Delta Dental Health Theatre provides young children and adolescents with oral health and wellness education to kick-start healthier lives. It was founded in 1977 by dentists and supported by the Greater St. Louis Dental Society. In 2002 Delta Dental of Missouri became the primary, permanent sponsor for the facility, renaming it the Delta Dental Health Theatre. Located in downtown St. Louis' historic Laclede's Landing, the theatre is home to fun, entertaining and educational programming. Children learn about better oral and overall health choices through a unique combination of educator-facilitated presentations, exhibits and learning tools, including children's puppet theater, live and filmed performances.
